I do pay attention to most indeces for the simple reason that they are interrelated. For example, INTC is part of SPX, XOC, NASDAQ, MSH, SOX, and God knows what else out there. Also, it is widely used for OTC options issued by big dealers and listed options. Many institutions are highly leveraged in some of these indeces (1-2% margin) which can cause a "snow ball effect" under certain circumstances. I am staying on the fence for the time being re: INTC. Just a gut feeling that something is rotten in Denmark that could affect INTC trading either way. // CA
