Thanks John for a nice analysis. I've been trying to get the same thing across to a lot of bearish investors. Buying growth through Dell is dirt cheap compared to some of the nifty fifty.

It is for this reason that I have been using CNPEG as a metric -- it measures the price of growth relative to the market.

Jim Leon made the point (about a thousand posts back) that we invest in companies, not stocks. Dell is a quality growth company that does not seem to be adversely impacted by the current economic turbulence.
