Charles, The you coudd work with thall, a misxture of graphite and kitty litter varies in resistance as you vary the mix, and that makes carbon comp resistors. You can take some platinum wire from IPM and make some fine WW pots, or are you in controllers for DC motors and AC variable phase drives for rolling mills and mongo overhead cranes?
ab is a big co. A friend of mine, Harry Krantz has built a business out of AB surplus out on long island. Any AB item, call him first and he just may have a new one in stock from a bankruptcy. He is useful on those 36 week lead time sand coated resistors, the lack of which has stalled your line.
