Reasons for today's drop

Alan and all,

Are you sure the drop today was a response to the
lowering of Jaz2 prices? I'm not. There were some
terrific bargains out there to be snapped up today,
and 2400 trades of IOM shares for the day isn't
that much of a stampede. It's simply that nobody
was buying, and a handful were selling to make
the necessary cash to go snap up some IBM or
MSFT at a good price. There just weren't enough
trades to indicate a big rejection, and there
isn't enough of IOM's revenue stream tied up
in Jaz2 sales to cause all that manic a reaction.

We're going to drift, mostly down, until it's clear
that IOM's back on track with its earnings. Earnings
drive all equity prices over the long haul.

Cheers, Tom (still long IOM)
