Freeus, go into a Waterhouse office talk to the manager. I had the same problem with First Union who initiated new paperwork which somehow wasn't filled out the way they liked, so they cut my option trades off, cost me a bundle! And I had 20 years experience.
Please pitch a nice fit, ask if they're policemen or businessmen. It's your money, all they'll help you do is lose it.
After a year with Waterhouse go to Brown & Co. Today they did three executions for me at better prices than I asked for, made me an extra $2,800. This is not uncommon with Brown, I have the feeling they don't play games. They are very fast, accurate and have readable paperwork. They play no games, Freeus.
Brown costs $5 or $10 on share trades, about $30 for 10 option contracts.
Make notes on all trades with Waterhouse; I've had them quote me an execution at one price and send confirmation at a worse one.
Others on this thread may have better suggestions, Freeus.
Best wishes!
