Without discussing the Clinton situation at all - psychiatrists are the same ones that created the twinkie defense, insist on giving Ridilin (sp?) to a rapidly growing number of children, decided that the gentleman that shot up a NY subway was suffering from Black Rage Syndrome, have made it difficult if not impossible to discipline a child either at home, at school, or anywhere else, have brought the concept of self esteem to California schools, come up with the profiles that help police track down serial killers, etc............
When what they say supports their pet cause, most people will side with the psychiatrists. When their opinion supports an opponent, the psychiatrist is a whacko. Personally, I vote for whacko most of the time. |
