The above statement is used throughout the annual report, seems to be a 3Com slogan "more connected" is even trademarked by COMS. Another quote says "The world isn't getting smaller-its getting more connected." It also has a cool snippet on Palm III in a medical emergency setting that has the doctors downloading x-rays just taken of patient, recieving medical history from patient's doctor, paging the on-call anesthesiologist, etc. Pretty neat vision of the use of palm computing platform in a real application. In Eric's letter to stockholders he says "3Com has turned the corner. We've committed to a unified strategy: leadership in converged networking." Hope he's right! I'm betting that he is! :@) Matt
