O/T to ur O/T

Denice: Zeev is an old cyber friend of mine and while his turnips get a little mushy now and then, he has a good feel for the market.

As to crying watching the market go up - it is much easier to cry sitting on the sidelines with cash, than to cry fully invested watching your capital vanish into thin air. In the first case, you can buy your favorites tomorrow or next week or next year and stop your crying, while in the latter you just sit and cry...

I have some drilling stocks that were fantastic fundamental investments back last year, then great value investments back in February, than selling below book even better value investments a month ago. It is not worth selling them at this point since I would recover a pittance, so I will wait for six months to over a year for things to improve. I will probably never realize their original value unless I want to keep them for 3-5 years. This is what comes of trying to catch falling knives in a bear market, if indeed that's what we have. I have felt the bear in my own investments in the oil patch, and it is very unpleasant - most folks with their life savings in the market are not ready for even a fraction of what I know is possible.

Don't ever regret being in cash...

Alex
