Microsoft starts India software center

HYDERABAD, India, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. (MSFT - news) has started operations at a software development center in India, a company official said on Tuesday.

''The development projects undertaken at the center in Hyderabad are strategic to Microsoft,'' he added.
