MK << BigKNY3...do you find it strange they don't even update their web site??? Now is that because they will be SOLD shortly????>>

MK: I believe it is indicative of a management that is careless about details and their company's image....not attractive characteristics for a potential buyer. You are supposed to clean your house when you are trying to sell it....not leave a visible mess in the living room.

The loss of top managers is a major warning danger sign for a small company like VVUS. These managers left for anyone of the following negative reasons:
-They were forced to walk the plank (indicating possible future problems to be revealed)
-They jumped ship before it sank
-They had major problems with the Captain
-The current and perceived future environment resulted in resumeitis.

The good news is that VVUS' overhead just went lower.

However, the fleeing of management talent coupled with the absence of a field force to generate specification and upcoming international competition, CS First Boston's search just got tougher.

Best of luck!
