No one says CSCO isn't good at what they do, only whether they are overvalued at PE of 75-100. It is not a technical issue, only a valuation issue. Sometimes people forget what they are buying. They are buying stock in a company that makes routers and other communications equipment. They are not buying the equipment itself.
Regardless of good the equipment is or how good the stock appears, it is always possible to overpay at some price. If you make a mistake, you can wait until the company catches up with its valuations, but it may be a while. I sold out of CSCO this AM (80% gain), just because so many other good stocks have now fallen to better (IMHO) valuations. And I want to be able to buy some these over the next several months. Nothing wrong with CSCO, just that the market has now made many other stocks appear attractive as well. At lower PEs.
