Kushi, I am a "bull" by nature and just do not look at "bearish tools" except writing covered calls, so I am sorry I cannot advice you. In bear markets, I simply hibernate (G) and from time to time go out on short term raids. Every bear market has its rallies, but these are quite dangerous.
