Hi Jay. To begin with NEWZ is IMO beyond prediction, regardless of the means. The net you constructed has given it a buy yesterday, as did all my other NEWZ nets. If you look at todays results you'll see that it decreased to below its 52 week low. However the fact that it's unpredictable is predictable, and that adds to its charm. It's my opinion that there are other forces stronger than mathmatics that influence its activity... maybe even MM manipulation. On good news and strong market moves it mostly doesn't budge and even goes down. On bad news and market plunges it goes up. It's a true contrarian and doesn't even trade in tandem with other stocks or its industry. But I have found that NGO is quite accurate in predicting those 5% increases when Neuro also has a buy on it, and also the MACD buy signal from Wall Street combined with either of the other buy signals is very accurate as well. So Neuro alone doesn't cut it with this pup, it needs a confirmation from either of the two other indicators.

Regarding the 60s program... At first I thought it was much ado about nothing, but that was because my initial net was NEWZ. Since then I've constructed nets on MCHP and CDG, and both have been reasonably accurate, especially in the last few days. The training time is about equal with the 40S program, and the diagonal is crispy sharp. It even signalled a buy from neutral yesterday on MCHP, and it went up over 18% today. However, before I get to carried away I need to monitor the results for a few weeks to build some confidence.

One thing I can tell you is that since I began trading with Neuro back in April some time, I'm still ahead the market and am happily in the black. I'd probable be losing my shirt otherwise.

Is it worth the extra money??? I'm not really sure. I think my next upgrade will have addtional features like a genetic algo, and that advanced trainer. Hopefully I'll make enough in the market by the end of the year to afford it.

By the way, as you have noted in previous e-mails... the sells are very accurate most of the time, but of course I've only been monitoring my Neuro portfolio since April, and mostly we've been in a down market, so it's hard to tell for sure

It's my opinion that if we ever get into a bull market again, we're prepared and experienced enough to make a killing with this technology. Until then I'm happy enough to make my 5% on rallies and protect what I have.

This'll teach you to ask a question. :))

PS... I saw that Compaq is selling it's model 2255, 300mhz etc bundle for 799 after the 200 in rebates. I'm soooo tempted to get it. Talk me out of it ok? It's only available at Price-Costco from what I can see.
