Excellent post Gary. I can't argue with a word you said because anyone rational would have to agree with your fact based insight. The trouble is that the stock market is rarely rational. Investors are ruled by two strong emotions fear and greed. Greed finally overwhelmed fear today and short sellers did indeed cover many positions. If the market does not get some support soon from overseas or Alan Greenspan then the sell off could indeed resume. Regards, Jeff
