>>but everyone needs to show a lot more respect and less paranoia than the past conversations. <<

Well, I will say I am a paranoid person. It is not that I am wrong or right, just that I am not willing to overlook things. At this point I will no make any money if VVUS moves up, But I sure wish it would. The stock price is saying the same thing as my opinion. But being paranoid is also another way to ask questions to what is going on and why. And I must say I am stymped. I am totally flabbergasted with this company. I understand about cost cutting, but you have to take a whole lot of other things that also go with it, like what will the shareholders think, And as it shows, they dont have much confidence.

I do think PFE will be intrested in licensing something like ALIBRA, although I will be shocked like you if they buy the company and it does offer the best fit and greatest benefit for both companies. Although from what I see, Leyland will just piss off everyone. I sure hope the stock does not go to 1. I dont expect it but then again I did not expect under 4 either. But no matter how low the stock price is, a hostile take over is unlikely even with a tender offer. From what I can see, 95% of the stocks are held at 7 or higher and they wont tender for much less. If leyland stays it will be a very long and painful time for the shareholders since I dont think the company will go under, but they will do something to screw everything up.
