I work at the university here in Santa Barbara, CA and Vans seem to be as popular as they ever were among the mostly white, middle and upper income students, if not quite as popular as Airwalk. My concern is that with all these brands (Sketchers was the latest to go public) an oversupply will cause prices and margins to dip.
