Jeff, isn't Greenspan getting exactly what he wanted...?? He should move towards reducing rates to prevent a serious meltdown, I agree, but he's been saying for two years that the market is ahead of itself. The mindless speculation in AOL and Yahoo showed how frail the market has been. You're right about greed and fear...it's an exceptionaly greedy and frightened market right now! gw
