Now Globex is up. Actually futures are trading about 6 points above fair value. Positive but not much. The bullish sentiment this morning is surprisingly restrained (Japan topping, Germany up but not taking 5000, profit-taking at the end of yesterday's session). The market is again susceptible to external factors and I don't see any positive ones on the horizon. But there is the potential for an explosive rally for the first time in this downturn (yesterday's was explosive, but after a sharp drop that is not so unusual). One needs to be careful (bulls and bears). Regards, Phil Correction: futures 8 points above fair value now. This is one of these sudden early-morning jumps that often have indicated the direction of the day recently.
