As I write this at 9:15PM, horror stories already abound about the hardships caused by freezing accounts today Lots of expats getting packed to leave, especially those paid in Ringgit that send money home. Major investment deals went south today for offshore investors. Folks with money (Dr. M's good buddies) are stuck. No place to hide their cash. Even the Malaysian offshore banking center, Labuan, didn't know what was going on. Nobody bother to tell the offshore investment types that they were out of business...... bt
