This type of portfolio IMO is family trust type of investments. For example family's that purchased GE, Ford, John Deere, Standard Oil, AT&T, BA, MMM, HON, etc. stocks back in the late 1800's and early 1900's have done very well. They also bought Penn Central and United States Steel.<ggg> This type of investing has to go on for generations with each generation adding smart investments from their generations winning companies. This game also requires education from generation to generation on how to manage the portfolio.
