Greg, I was watching the news last night and they did a piece on the new EBT entitlements, to be exact welfare in the state of Florida. Basically what they said was that by next month, the state will be going to electronic welfare payments. They showed the card they were using in the test and interviewed the recipient who has been testing the new system who thought it was great! Went on to say that it's a "win,win" situation for both the state and the recipients. The recipients get to use this neat card for doing their groceries without other people looking at them funny when they used the old system of food stamps---they had their "pride" to uphold, and that the state cuts out a lot of fraud, and eliminates the recipient from turning the entitlements into cash and using it for "other" items. Doesn't hurt to get a little free publicity and let the public become aware of the new system. Kevin
