LG Unveils 4X DVD Rom Drive LG Electronics Inc. has developed a 4X DVD (digital versatile disk) Rom drive with a 5,400 kilo-byte data processing rate, four times faster than existing products. LG said it will export $7.7 million of the new products to the United States this year, expanding it to $100 million next year and $200 million in 2000.
