While not from Bob, here is an answer. Deal was for two years. I asked Martin directly if XOMA could stop the trial early, by itself, (using your logic, "o.k. we got enough and benefit of stopping greater than waiting to end of year). She said without a recommendation to halt by the DSMB, XOMA would have no basis for halting the trial early. Since I had posted that it might be possible given the large number accrued, I reposted stating they would not halt on their own.
