Sounds like they are trying to compete with Adobe's Acrobat PDF system. Quark, of course, is a major competitor with Adobe for page layout (Quark Xpress vs. Adobe Pagemaker) - actually Quark is the major player in page layout these days. Quark, which is a private co. recently made an offer to buy Adobe, which is much bigger than they are. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
