if i'm reading this right there are two different things being said here:

BW - y2k suit thrown out supports his position that y2k is a scam, hype, hoax, fraud.

JM - software has limited life span and creators shouldn't be liable for its ultimate failure

JM -- are you agreeing w/BW that y2k is a scam, or are you saying the problem is real but programmers shouldn't be held liable?
