We are close IMO however the September/October period could find some slowing earnings numbers reflecting the slowdown in the economy that some economists predict. When and if the Dow tests the 6900/7000 intraday figure (that occurred during 11/97) will, in theory, form a double bottom pointing towards a positive/higher market future.

Another trouble spot to watch for is Japan's N-225 which recently broke below 14,000 & through the low formed in 1992 and tested many times since (It is now above 14,000).

By 12/15/98 the overall world market health & stocks situation should be more evident with less uncertainty(& maybe with President Gore)
