Well, if you mean high-capacity removable disk R&D, there's Sony, Mitsubishi (I heard this name somewhere before), Fuji, Seagate (a rumor, nothing official), Imation (a 3M spinoff), Olympus, a few others. But, the facts (retail sales and OEM agreements) point to the conclusion that Iomega has done it better.
