Cary,

I personally believe in the area of High-Tech, which
means obsolete tech with dirt cheap price still won't work,
the upper-stream bussiness is safer and more lucrative than
the down stream one, as long as the technology goes beyond
competitors.
I'm very bullish on the Semi-Equipment makers, selective
bullish on chipmakers (INTC, LSI,...) and won't touch any system
level company. We've only seen APPL sufferring but MOT, IBM.
I still remember powerPC was set by these three.
