Michael:

Watch as the US$ becomes weaker against other currencies. It has begun as a consequence of declining US stocks. It will accelerate as foreign owners of our market liquidate and translate dollars back into their domestic currencies. Although we have seen a bout of falling commodities, as in '29, today we are a net debtor nation. Deflation will only persist until those that hold our assets do as described.

At that point, the Federal Reserve will mistakenly lower short-term interest rates in response to what will have been contracting commodities prices. Unfortunately, we will experience an unprecedented bout of inflation, usually reserved for those emerging market countries.

Hecla will move 10-12 fold.
