I received a spam yesterday from the wife of a judicial candidate, asking for my vote. Even asked forgiveness for spamming all of us. She did it because HE would obviously get in big trouble for doing it. I am filing a complaint with our state's Judicial Qualifications Commission, and the county elections supervisor.
I agree, SPAM is a scourge we must eliminate. It isn't like snail mail advertisements that we can just throw away. We can delete the emails, but that doesn't change the effect it has on i-net traffic, and how the clogged bandwidth effects the speeds we are able to navigate the net with.
Bill, I have to disagree with you on this one. It is no different from that telephone call(s) you get during dinner from various 'salesholes' as I like to call them. Granted, people are just trying to make a living, but I think there's a limit as to what, when, and how they should be able to ply their trade.
