I really doubt VLSI's price will go down by much (if any at all). Anyone with a brain in his /her head was certain that VLSI will warn. LSI, and NSM did warn a few weeks ago and practically every single analyst in the world has been knocking semi companies down due to their expectation of short fall in revenue and earnings. Therefore I dont think VLSI's price will go down by much (at most 1/8 if any at all). Wall Street does not like uncertainity. Up to this point the stock has been punished just because of the fact that the company did not warn and everyone knew they would eventually (thanks to LSI and NSM). knocking the stock down from this point would be similar to shooting at an already dead man who has already been shot 1000 times over and over! We may see a drop in the early part of the trading session tomorrow but in fact I wont be surprised to see the stock up from its today close price of $8 13/16 toward the close of the session tomorrow. to perhaps close at around $9 1/8-$9.5.
