I find that curious why the need to announce an old stockholder's meeting. I have never heard of stockholders meeting after a completed merger like this. Seems awfully odd. Either the merger is completed or not. If it is complete, then there is no old business of the corporation, the meeting is the business of all current shareholders. So it seems odd that John Schmitz sounds to be discouraging current shareholders from attending a meeting by saying that future plans won't be discussed. Highly unusual, if you ask me. (Since you didn't, I am just charitably offering my opinion.)
