Hey akmike! Yes the bears did some major growling! Yes the storage business is solid for the next few years I have mentioned this before on the thread but the object wave thing in C/S (the whole internet thing) means that not only bandwidth but storage and eventually more Mips on every client will be needed. This only bodes well for the Symbios thing. O and yes I agree LSI will take at least a few more weeks to know how things will go for q4. And VLSI warned after the close q3 will be down 5-10% - about the same %ge as LSI's! Plus they mention 1999 as recovery period. FWIW as I've mentioned here I do not think VLSI is nearly as well positioned as LSI but that's my opininion only (heck look at VLSI's revenue this year vs. LSI's drop! VLSI getting cheaper and cheaper...) We shall see... Don't have details on financing. Should be cheap though.
