I remember reading an interview with John Chambers (CSCO) last year, and they asked him what he thought about the 3Com merger. His first reaction was that it was going to be hard because of merging two separate corporate cultures which were across the country from each other. He said that was a major obstacle and felt sorry for Eric B.
