While I agree with your assessment that this single announcement will not drive the stock price up, it is indeed a shrewd deal. Immucor lays out $1.7 million and gains almost $1 million in revenue. A few pennies per share should fall to the bottom line. Sure looks like the new CFO knows how to use those idle funds!
