I agree, forget Alexander or Whitman. Liddy Dole would be great but I see her as a VP choice. Powell says he does not want it and I believe him. Don't rule out Ashcroft garnering support. I believe we will have to have someone MORALLY pure.....even our great Reagan would have a problem, having been divorced, although I would LOVE to see another Reagan-like! I think the American people will be turned off to anyone with any dirty skeletons in their closet next time and the press will be more willing to report on him next time....they know they wronged the American people as a group.
