I've got the numbers in US dollars now:

DFX Year End Dec 31 Shares: 9.5M
US$
1,000s Q/Q-1 Q/Q-4 Earnings/
Period Sales Earnings Sales Sales Sales
% % %
98Q2 12,237 2,203 11 235 18
98Q1 11,051 2,526 52 280 23

97Q3 6,073 610 66 141 10
97Q2 3,654 381 26 65 10
97Q1 2,908 261 22 109 9

96Q3 2,520 300 14 12
96Q2 2,215 270 59 12
96Q1 1,394 87 6

Last

EPS 0.70

98Q3
(est) 14,400 2,592 18

Notes: July 98 sales C$7.5M = U$4.8M

My 98Q3 estimate is quite conservative, 3 times July sales and
18% earnings. I haven't estimated any sleep system sales.
The trailing EPS becomes 0.90.

I notice that the 3 commercials all address the "2 people sleeping
in the same bed with different comfort needs" issue. This is
probably the best market segment initially. It's also their most
expensive model.

I would ask DFX if they're also looking at the "one bed used by
many people" issue, ie. hotel and guest rooms. I've never slept
in a hotel room that had an adjustable bed, but I've slept in many
that had uncomfortable beds.

IMO, DFX won't be in this price dip for long.

Regards, Gofer
