MindSpring Builds Point of Presence in Phoenix

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1998--MindSpring Enterprises,
Inc. (Nasdaq: MSPG) today announced it has built an Internet Point of
Presence (POP) in Phoenix, Arizona and is beginning to move customers
from the third-party network it had been utilizing for its customers
in the Valley. The new facility features state-of-the-art 3Com
USRobotics networking equipment and supports the new v.90 protocol
for 56K modem connections.
