Al Chiasson is in Montreal working on the financing. He told me it is still going through. The financing offer is obviously a difficult one for the banks -- I suspect it is because the investor is a consortium, and the funds are probably coming from numerous and diverse sources, each of which must be examined.

The search for other financing also doesn't particularly surprise me. Even if the current deal sails through, Receptagen isn't going to have 27 mil Canadian to play with -- it probably is going to want to pay some (if not all) of its creditors. More capital is usually better than less, I would say.
