Timely? The boys on CNBC have even noted that in times of market crisis some of the DOW members will announce buybacks. They have wondered (out loud)as to this "timing"(Ron I.). During the session of the 357 point drop, one of them (I believe it was Joe K.) stated I don't know why they are announcing this buyback again, they announced it a week ago.
