Thanks for the detailed response. Another question about PRIA, if you don't mind. There is no useful info on PRIA thread. This is my basket case stock (bought on way down at $26).

I have read that INTC, in order to standardize all of its fabs, selects a single "vendor of choice" for each type of equipment.
Notwithstanding the 300mm postponements, do you have any insight into whether INTC is evaluating next generation automation equipment yet. I am obviously concerned that if Daifuku wins the next round, it will be a bad day for PRIA (ala AT&T and Ciena). With the yen situation, Japanese equipment must be very competitive in the US, although I don't know if this is true in other places such as Malaysia and Israel. I assume INTC evaluates vendors long and hard before deciding. Is there a tendency for INTC to favor domestic vendors over Japanese, everything being equal, to keep its secrets at home ?
