Dow Jones Newswires -- September 2, 1998 Tanisys Tech In Pact To Make Rambus Memory Products Dow Jones Newswires AUSTIN, Texas -- Tanisys Technology Inc. (TNSU) agreed to design, make and sell Rambus Inc.'s (RMBS) Direct Rambus RIMM memory modules. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Wednesday, Tanisys said it plans to begin sampling in multiple sizes later this year, with volume production ready for 1999. The modules will be manufactured at Tanisys facilities in Texas and Scotland. Rambus, Mountain View, Calif., develops and markets high-speed, chip-to-chip interface technology for semiconductor memory devices. Tanisys provides computer products, and technical and logistical services. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
