the transmission rate will depend on how much data you are requesting: how many charts you have open, how many market maker boxes, etc. i have witnessed rates in the range of 5-14kbps to provide good coverage on average stocks. stocks in fast market conditions require more throughput, DELL was pushing over 35Kbps today in fast market. Does anyone at all know at what rate the best possible transmission rate from cyber is? 5K per sec,15K per sec? Anyone ? Anyone?? i have received over 140 kbps rates from CyberCorp. the question of needed rate depends upon what you want to achieve from the system. how many stocks do you need to monitor?
