Just wanted to add 2 cents here....cable modem made a HUGE difference over a 56k modem to real tick III feed.....I've always heard that 14.4k or 34k, etc was adequate, but I'm telling you from personal experience, there is a HUMONGOUS difference with higher bandwidth net connection......And according to the CNBC Nasdaq site broadcast (that they play every hour or so) I'm STILL a couple of seconds behind the Nasdaq site, even though it still has to come over tv to get here. ("here" is Hawaii", though)
One other thing, I'm not sure why Phillip Berber has such a mean-spirited following around SI, but I'm an MBT customer, and I still admire him as a very enterprising young man after reading his bio....He's not just another broker, either...He's responsible for the innovation of a pretty sophisticated product (from what I've seen) and if CT had been available in Hawaii when I changed over, I probably would have given it a try..
I just think it's wrong to dog him, but I'm not big on flaming, so that's about all I've got to say about it.
