David, That friend....is he as smart or as handsome as me? I doubt that knowing what a Wendell award is will help your DD, David.....but who knows. Wendell Holmes was a poster here a few years ago....very sharp guy...well respected for his knowledge and common sense. He was a wilderness guide in Montana....but used to be a floor trader on the Chicago Merc. I guess he burned out. Anyhow.....He decided to get married.......and then never was heard from again. (I'm not making this up) The Wendell award is my way of saluting someone for finding a contract or a news article that makes a difference in the biometric world. Although I'm the only one qualified to award the Wendell.....others have been awarding them. They are like "gold stars" for good DD. bg ps. We used to hand out cyber cigars for good DD....but since zippergate.....we have dropped that practice.
