vepoc...Late night message from the colonies....

"Firstly"---I was of the opinion that the US president was the
first G7 leader in Russia after recent crisis. Whatever the reason.
If this is true the others might follow in expressing their similar
opinion. As I am not an American citizen, but European, I had no intention to step on your nationalism from this side of the pond.

"Secondly"---Many of those Russian cousins might be living
in the USA. Maybe more than in England.
Germany has invested heavily in Russia with very liberal credit
policies. (compared to USA)
I wasn't aware of Austria's involvement...and therefore, my question.

Reagan vs Yeltsin---I assume you would agree that had Reagan not
been able to lead the country there was a stable government in place
to offset any shortcomings. History has already shown that stability
was maintained and the country did not suffer. To think the same
would happen in Russia with Yeltsin is not an argument that will
find many supporters.
It could however, be the case that Russia could be better of without
Yeltsin following a different course of reform.

I've already complimented Clinton once for his conferences in Moscow.
Can't do it two times in one day.

Let us know what happens I will check in morning. Thank you.

Good Night...Good Morning...Good Luck today....zzzzzzzzz
