Bob,

"does your scenario envision A rotational leadership of depressed industries that have undergone accumulation.Or is it dismal everywhere all the way down?"

The scenario I've discussed is one where all exuberance, irrational or otherwise, is "nuked" out of the system. Anything with a hint of speculation and fluff in it will be torn to the ground. And it will stay there until all speculative hope is lost.

In some cases, the selling will get overdone, leaving unrealistically low values in certain sectors/groups. When you identify this situation, just rememeber not to be among the first wave of buyers, as it is always a sucker play, and they'll just take'em lower. Impatience is the main item that will be "Corrected" by the events of the next couple years.

When it finally settles at the bottom... It sure will be peaceful!! Like it is/was at granddad's/grandmaw's. Nobody's in a hurry. Could be the best experience many have ever gone through, bringing people back together and helping them focus on what really matters.

Regards,

David

P.S. It's either the Bear fund/short sale/puts/Gold/S-T Treasuries... Which do you prefer?
