Bought PAIR last year and did well.

I bought in before the LUCENT rumors hit the street, and got out shortly afterward. I honestly can't believe the price it has dropped to. I agree with Gary, PAIR has great fundamentals, a solid B/S, they are cash rich and a leader in their industry.

However, there are obviously serious problems brewing, or else we wouldn't see it trading at 7 and change. Of course, there is a market panic going on--people are fleeing fast from the small cap, mid cap tech names. This is providing bargain prices for the rest of us. The question is....is PAIR a bargain. I happen to think so. It might take
a little time, but I think it will rebound and settle back around the 14's or so within the next few months, barring a further market decline.

The big questions for PAIR going forward are:
1) What is going to happen w/ the Bell Atl. Contract?
2) When Lucent is freed up to buy companies w/stock at the end of this month--will PAIR be on their shopping list?
3) What will this quarter bring in terms of earnings?
4) WHat are their prospects for the ADSL market? ANd what is the future of xDSL in general.

I would appreciate any responses to the above questions. I already have my takes on all of them--I am interested to hear others.

Kevin

PS: For anybody looking for a great stock with excellent long-term potential--check out Peoplesoft (PSFT). I don't think you can go wrong with them long term. Here is a recent Lehman Bros. report on them:
