Are the two SMU investor boards at AOL still active? I never saw anything on Compu-serve. Mark, I for one welcome you aboard.

Mark, do not get me wrong but Randall is in weekly/daily contact with management, you relay information, .. SMU is just one of your many clients. But do stop by. Questions do arise and a comment from you is always appreciated. Next time you Post a message, post to this forum as a member. Contribute to the SI backbone, equipment, bandwidth, pay the $75 and become a member.(charge it to SMU) It would also signify to us you do plan to stay, and not just be a courier.

Good Idea, how about posting of Questions and answers here in addition to your one-on-one? ?We, owners of the company will not have direct access to the company except through a hired third party? but Analyst that may or may not have any direct personal ownership will have direct communications. hmmmmmmm.

Please exemplify. I have read the many post from "The Randall" of INTC (Intel) on boards at SI. "The Randall" from MOT (Motorola) corrects any misinformation disseminated as he monitors many sources. Mark, you have talked to Randall and he must have something specific in mind. I question what SMU management is thinking.
The "Internet" is LONG. Some others, as Ty Morgan, have happily liquidated for Tax purposes and stick around to see what a good decision they made. : ) I can not imagine anyone being naked short here. Are there?
This issues' volatility has exploded. The Risk of a 50% move is greater than ever. If all that has been said is HYPE, book value is about $4.00. If losses continue for a couple more quarters, even Sean will not be able to stop the implosion. If Revenues and the Biz Model continue as planned, 100% increases in earnings are around the corner.
So our discusions center around the question "can management accomplish its plans?" The products are real, but can they be effectively managed and juggled. There must be problems as loses and changes are reflective of bad execution. I see Jun 97 -100% Sep 97 -533% Dec 97 -250% March 98 100% June 98 25% is surely misleading as a loss was reported. Oops. its continuing operations, What was March 97?. (-330%)
This in turn, the loss of confidence of long term holders. Bad execution usually will be followed with more bad execution. The only way to change is to dissect the manager and bring new blood. Case in Point Apple. Great products bad manager, execute from the Top. Price goes from $4 below SMU to $34 premium.
I do not think any negative >>>>false or misleading information>>>>> is posted. Comments, wishes and hopes posted are plain to see and no one with any common sense would take the statements as anymore than that.
