MB. The last remaining bulls on some SI threads are stating affirmatively that there will be a rally in tech stocks once "the big time fund managers return from their vacations after labor day." This sort of implies that only dummy fund managers are at the helm now losing billions of dollars. <g>

If I was to make a best guess here on market activity surrounding the long weekend I would guess the market rallies early Thursday morning, and then sells off steeply in the afternoon. Then Friday, there will be a slight comeback rally to close the day to the plus side. The trivial plus side gain on Friday's close will allow everybody to enjoy the weekend.

Is there any validity to the "vacationing bull fund managers" theory?
